Dheeraj Hinduja

Dheeraj G. Hinduja is a leading British-Indian businessman and a key member of the famous Hinduja family. He plays a huge role in the global truck and bus industry. He is currently the Executive Chairman of Ashok Leyland Limited, which is the Hinduja Group's main company and one of the world's biggest bus and truck makers. He’s the person who sets the overall direction for the company, and he’s credited with guiding Ashok Leyland through a major growth period and turning its fortunes around.

Education: He's well-educated, getting his first degree (B.Sc. Hons) in Economics and History from University College, London, in 1993. The next year, 1994, he got his Master's degree (MBA) from Imperial College, London University, where he focused onProject Management.

Family: Dheeraj is the son of Mr. Gopichand Hinduja and Mrs. Sunita Hinduja.

Personal Life: He is married to Shalini Chandiramani, and they have two children.

Business Ties: He has a brother, Sanjay Hinduja, and a sister, Rita Hinduja. Both he and his brother, Sanjay, are actively involved in running the Hinduja Group's various businesses.
